Project Manhood™ is an effort to assist churches and other programs to reach and develop at-risk boys into responsible, educated, employed, and self-sufficient young men. We also empower men to become extraordinarily successful in life as they were created to be.

 Project Manhood™ was conceived in 1989 by Sheldon D. Nix, Ph.D., M.S.W., now Senior Pastor and Head Coach of Life Worth Living Fellowship in Delaware, Executive Director of The Life Center, and Project Coordinator for the Delaware Fatherhood & Family Coalition, a state-wide network of  government and community agencies and churches empowering men to be effective fathers and to build healthy marriages and relationships. .
Two years ago, Dr. Nix partnered with Darrell V. Freeman, M.A., a pastor for 23 years, a nationally known motivational speaker, author of eight books, and long-time leader in the men's and youth fields.
